Youth Camps
Teen camp is a BLAST! These six solid days of hanging with friends from all over northern BC will involve swimming, canoeing, kayaking, free time, soaking up sun on the sandy beach, plus lots of organized activities to energize and inspire you. Below is just a few of them.
- Supervisor Talks
- Mt Pope Hike
- Closing Dance
Supervisor Talks
Every evening, a couple of supervisors share testimonies about their faith, struggles in their lives, and the experiences that have made them the person they are today.
Mt Pope Hike
The high point of teen camp is on the top of Mt. Pope. This optional hike is a great way to build community and reach a personal goal.
The Closing Dance
One of the favorite traditions of the last night of camp is a celebration dance party with lots of energy, good tunes, and great fun.

Family Camp
Family camp provides a week of rest, relaxation and quality time with your family. Whether you prefer the structured community activities of Cana Camp, or the relaxed Family Camps, you will love the scenic beauty and comfortable environment of Camp Morice. Along with your own personal cabin, you will also have access to a community kitchen, washroom and shower facilities, sports fields, hiking trials, and a main dining hall. The camps allow for a laid-back week of family bonding in which you can take it easy and enjoy the peace and serenity of the summer. For more details on Family Camp or Cana Camp call (250) 996-7881.
Cana Camp
In today’s hectic world, CANA Camp strives to slow us down and get in touch with God, our families and our neighbors in a faith community. Each day, families gather to celebrate Eucharist.
During the afternoon, parents gather to discuss concerns common to Catholic families while the children participate in activities supervised by CANA Staff. In the evening we share a common spiritual or entertainment activity. Children are an integral part of a week at CANA and experiences are often very memorable for them. The week is relatively unstructured; the atmosphere is relaxing with opportunity to spend time with the family, visit with new friends, and enjoy summer fun –swim in the lake, sit around evening campfires and utilize surrounding nature trails, including those on Mt. Pope in the Ft.St.James area.
